About the event
Discover the Influence of Ceramics on Tea Tasting
What difference does a cup make? In this immersive workshop, tea curator Lorela Lohan invites you to explore how the shape, texture, and material of handmade ceramic vessels affect the way we perceive the taste and aroma of tea.
Through a series of guided tastings, participants will sample selected teas in ceramics crafted by contemporary artists from across Europe and Japan. Each piece offers a different tactile and sensory experience—shifting the very nature of the tea it holds.
This workshop showcases exclusive ceramic works created by artists featured in the upcoming exhibition The Art of Tea, which will take place at MA Art Space from 4 to 25 October:
