About the event
Tea is shaped not only by the leaf and water, but also by the vessels it touches. In this guided comparative tasting workshop, participants will explore how different ceramic materials influence the flavour, aroma, and mouthfeel of tea.
Three carefully selected teas from WanderlusTea’s private collection will each be brewed in two different ceramic vessels, using a glass pitcher to ensure consistency and neutrality. For every tasting, participants will compare the same tea served in a ceramic cup and in the standard festival cup, allowing subtle differences to become perceptible.
Through mindful tasting, guided prompts, and group discussion, this workshop offers a hands-on introduction to how clay, glaze, and thermal properties quietly transform the experience of tea. Suitable for curious beginners and experienced tea drinkers alike.
