Lorela Lohan

“I seek to create moments where art and tea meet in stillness—where each sip becomes a way of seeing, and each work of art, a way of feeling.”

ABOUT THE EVENT

What difference does a cup make?

In this immersive workshop, tea curator Lorela invites you to explore how the shape, texture, and material of handmade ceramics influence the way we experience the taste, aroma, and body of tea.

Through a series of guided tastings, you’ll sample carefully selected teas in ceramic vessels created by leading contemporary artists from Europe and Japan. Each vessel offers its own tactile and sensory dialogue with the tea—transforming its expression in subtle but profound ways.

This unique tasting workshop offers a preview of the ceramic works featured in the upcoming exhibition The Art of Tea, held at MA.Art Space, Brussels (4–25 October 2025).
