Meet the Co-Founder:
Martynas Žemavičius 

Acala was co-founded by Martynas Žemavičius, whose deep experience in the fine wine world shaped every element of the drink.

With over 20 years in the global wine trade, Martynas holds:

  • A WSET Diploma (Wine & Spirit Education Trust)

  • Certification as a sommelier and natural perfumer

  • Roles as a Champagne judge and Decanter World Wine Awards senior expert

  • A career working with Château Margaux, Rothschild, Burgundy Grand Cru, and more

His approach to sparkling tea is grounded in the same precision and storytelling as world-class wine — bringing structure, aroma, and place to every bottle.
