We’re thrilled to announce that WanderlusTea will be participating in the upcoming Berlin Tea Festival, one of Europe’s most vibrant celebrations of tea culture, innovation, and craftsmanship. Join us for a unique blend of thought leadership and immersive tasting experiences as we take part in both the International Tea Conference and two curated workshops during the main days.
Conference Talk
Berlin International Tea Conference
Friday, 7 November 2025
As founder of WanderlusTea, I will be speaking at the Berlin International Tea Conference on the topic:
“Steeped in the Future”. This session explores how tea is becoming a dynamic cultural movement — from matcha culture and powdered teas, to NOLO pairings in the hospitality industry.

Embark on a guided tasting of five unique teas grown across Europe — from the Atlantic gardens of Portugal to the alpine slopes of Switzerland and Italy, the volcanic soils of the Azores, and the tea gardens of northeast Germany and the French Pyrenees.
This workshop offers a rare glimpse into the emerging world of European tea production, highlighting how local terroirs, climate, and craftsmanship are shaping a new chapter in global tea culture.
Includes: Matcha grown in Germany
5 Oolong Teas x 5 Tea Chocolates
A Sensory Pairing Experience
Berlin Tea Festival – Atelier 1
Date: Sun, 9 November 2025 (14h15-15H15)
Duration: 1 hour
Max Participants: 15-20
Cost: €38 per person
A curated, sensorial journey through five exceptional oolong teas from Lorela’s personal collection, each paired with an artisan chocolate infused with the very same tea. This workshop celebrates the harmony between tea and cacao — exploring how texture, terroir, and aroma interact on the palate.
Participants will discover how the layered character of oolong enhances and transforms the chocolate-tasting experience. A rare opportunity to enjoy both elements as parallel expressions of a single ingredient.

“I'm truly excited to return to Berlin to speak and share tea again. These workshops are a celebration of all the things I love — storytelling, terroir, cross-sensory exploration, and the joy of tasting. I can't wait to welcome you!”
Lorela hosted a workshop on pairing European Teas with Local Cheeses at Bar Schwips last year during the Sunday program of the Berlin Tea Festival.
